Dr. Aicel Carbonero (aka Dr. C) is a proud graduate of the University of Maryland School of Dental Medicine, where she received her D.D.S. (Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree) and completed a General Practice Clerkship. She previously received her B.S. in Chemistry from Florida International University, graduating with honors.
Additionally, Dr. Carbonero completed a mini-residency at the Rondeau Seminars Symposium on Advanced Orthodontics / Straight Wire Orthodontics and Functional Appliances and continues her Orthodontic / Orthopedic education with The International Association for Orthodontics (oldest and largest of the national and international non-specialty orthodontic groups).
From an early age, growing up in Havana, Cuba, Dr. Carbonero knew she was going to follow her mother’s footsteps into the Dental profession. Working as an orthodontic dental assistant, during her high school years, she developed a passion for cosmetic/esthetic dentistry in helping individuals create their beautiful smiles.
Through her advanced education and professional training, she formed a deep rooted commitment to caring and compassionate service which in combination with her technical expertise allows her to provide only the best dental care for each of her valued patients. Her philosophy is to create, excellence in patient care and clinical results.
Dr. Carbonero is full of passion: Passion for her CITY, her WORK, and most of all her PATIENTS! She realized that what made her the happiest was changing people’s lives for the better and helping them smile with confidence each and everyday.
